Commercial legislation in Turkey is regulated by the Turkish Commercial Code (TTK). The TTK contains many regulations for companies wishing to do business in Turkey.

These regulations include issues such as establishing a commercial enterprise, types of companies, trade registry registration, agreements between companies, law of obligations and bankruptcy of companies. The Turkish Commercial Code also provides detailed information on the process of establishing a company in Turkey by foreign investors.
German Trade Legislation:
Commercial legislation in Germany is regulated by the German Commercial Code (HGB). HGB determines the rules to be followed by companies wishing to do business in Germany. These rules include issues such as establishing a commercial business, company types, trade registry registration, agreements between companies, law of obligations and bankruptcy law.
In addition, trade legislation in Germany is being harmonized with the European Union (EU) legislation.
Trade Legislation between the two countries
Since Turkey and Germany are included in the European Union's common market, their trade legislation is being harmonized with each other. Therefore, EU legislation is also effective in trade between Turkey and Germany.
Trade agreements and free trade agreements between the two countries are also important in terms of trade legislation. Trade between Turkey and Germany is concentrated in the machinery, automotive, chemistry, food and textile sectors.
